Living empowered was created out of personal experience as the founder of the organization is a domestic violence survivor with three amazing sons. Living empowered wants to be that miracle and provide the six months transition home to help let you sleep at night.

It is physically, emotionally and mentally taxing, I remember praying if only I had a miracle for six months where I don’t have to pay rent and I can pay more on the smaller bills and finally buy a monthly commuting pass, then I can sleep better.

OUR PURPOSE
Helping domestic violence survivors transition into safe homes
Living Empowered is a non-for profit organization to help the domestic violence survivors transition into safe homes with young children.
The purpose of the six month transitional homes is to give the domestic violence survivors and her young children and opportunity to regain financial stability to survive and save money to obtain their own home or rent a place that is safe and suitable.
The home will be two or three bedrooms, fully furnished with amenities. Security cameras and alarm systems will be activated at all times.
The home will be rent and utilities free with marked with conditions to the survivor; with operating home play book rules & regulations.
The survivor must be part of an organization that provides rehabilitating programs such as sobriety, addiction programs, literacy programs, working programs etc. if applicable. Living Empowered partners up with these programs and we will intake referrals for the survivors that have successfully completed the requirements.
DRESS FOR SUCCESS
A world wide organization that empowers women to become financially independent and provide work programs to help the women get back into our working class society. Dress for Success provides women with professional attire from head to toe.
